I am a strong believer in the power of process, where going on the journey is just as valuable as reaching your destination. In the work that we will do together on your path to wellness, my commitment is to take your lead and journey along with you. It will be my distinct honor to collaborate with you in accessing the best possible version of yourself.
I have provided both counseling and case management services to families and individuals in crisis who have suffered various kinds of trauma, including family violence, child abuse and sexual assault. I received training as a state-certified Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking Advocate through multiple organizations. I am also qualified to facilitate group workshops that use art as a safe and effective healing tool for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
I employ a feminist philosophy in my approach with clients and believe that working collaboratively with clients through an anti-oppression and cross-cultural framework produces the best results. I was born and raised in the Philippines. Being fluent in both English and Tagalog, I am able to fully engage with clients in either of these languages and understands the benefits of providing services that respect and value the influence of one’s personal culture.
